Adam has been a West Michigan resident for 22 years and has lived in Norton Shores since 2008. Adam has worked at Ryke’s Bakery since 2010 and is the Executive Chef and General Manager, overseeing all retail, cafe and catering operations.

Adam lives with his wife, Anne Meilof, in Norton Shores and has a daughter, Tristan, and a stepson, Jim. Anne was director of institutional research and development for five years at Muskegon Community College and is now at Grand Rapids Community College. Tristan is a graduate of Mona Shores High School and works in event sales in Grand Rapids. Jim graduated from Western Michigan Christian High School and is beginning his junior year at Ferris State University in Big Rapids. (Go Bulldogs!)

Adam serves on the Community Engagement Board of the United Way and on the Salvation Army Advisory Board. He is a member of Rotary and is very active in the Muskegon Chamber of Commerce. Adam and Anne are active in their church, Covenant Life in Grand Haven, and teach Sunday school together.

Adam has also spent many years involved as an actor and director in community and semiprofessional theater in Sacramento (California), Grand Rapids and Muskegon.

Adam loves golfing, traveling with his wife Anne, and being involved and engaged in the community.
