Jordan graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a B.A. in Urban and Regional Planning and Rutgers University with a Masters in City and Regional Planning.
Jordan has remained committed to giving back to his community through volunteer service. He has served on the Lake Mary Code Enforcement Board since 2008. Jordan volunteered services for the 2018 Lake Mary-Heathrow Festival of the Arts where he as successful in bringing back the children’s area also known as “Creative Village” which offered children and their families hands-on, make and take art activities and how to workshops. Jordan was recently elected to the Board of Director to the Lake Mary-Heathrow Festival of the Arts where he will once again provide an opportunity for children to explore their creativity. Jordan is an assistant Lake Mary Little League coach and was appointed to serve a 3 year term on the School Advisory Council (SAC) for Crystal Lake Elementary. SAC shares responsibility for guiding the school toward continuous improvement. Jordan is also a member of the American Planning Association as well as the Florida Chapter and is a certified planner through the American institute of Certified Planners.

Jordan has worked in both the private and public sector for the past 19 years. I have extensive background in the planning profession. I have served as a consultant in urban, suburban and rural Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Florida municipalities and the Florida Department of Transportation as well as private clients and have gained invaluable government experience working as a Business Analysis for the Florida Highway Patrol and currently employed for the past 4 years as the Senior Planner for the City of Sanford. Jordan will draw from his experiences as a citizen and municipal employee and be a leader that will be able to discuss and implement policy that is in the best interest of the community.
