Jamie Fuselier was raised in Klein and attended both elementary and intermediate school in the district. In total, he has been a resident of the area for twelve years. He and his family have lived in the Spring Creek Oaks subdivision since 2012 where Jamie's wife Wendy is a teacher in KISD and his son attends one of KISD's elementary schools.
When relocating his family to the Houston area after a job transfer, Jamie considered many neighborhoods in Houston and its surrounding suburbs. Drawing heavily on Jamie’s formative years growing up in Klein and his fond memories of time living in Cypresswood and attending KISD’s schools, Jamie and Wendy were immediately drawn to the first-rate educational programs provided by the district, the small town feel of the immediate area, and the ever-expanding wealth of amenities the community offers.
Jamie is the Senior Manager of Credit in the finance department at Targa Resources LP, and holds both his MBA and BBA from Texas universities. He is an active volunteer, coach, and athlete, having participated as a parent reader in elementary school classrooms, serving as a coach with i9 Sports in the Spring-Klein area, and playing second base as a member of a SKSA men’s adult softball team. Jamie and his family are active members at Champion Forest Baptist Church.
Jamie values Klein’s heritage but realizes that securing Klein’s future is of utmost priority. With the rapid population growth this area continues to undergo, KISD deserves a Trustee who values yesterday while standing ready to solve tomorrow’s issues.
