During the ten years that I have lived in College Park, I have been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to actively participate in our civic association, the Animal Welfare Committee, the Green Team, Meals on Wheels, College Park Community Library, and the City Council.
I am employed as a Program Manager with the Maryland Department of the Environment. Our program is responsible for overseeing public health standards that ensure the quality and quantity of our public water supply. My group provides compliance, enforcement and budget oversight.
During my service in the 175th Wing of the Maryland Air National Guard, I earned an A.A.S. degree in Public Administration from the Community College of the Air Force. I also have a B.S. degree in Liberal Arts from Towson University and a J.D. degree from the University of Baltimore. I am licensed to practice law in Maryland, California and Washington, D.C.
After law school, I was active in alternative dispute resolution and served as a mediator for employment and civil rights issues, community groups, and contract law.
College Park is a wonderful place to live and I want to use my skills and dedication to our city to increase civic engagement and create more opportunities for community building.
