I come from a family that serves and have an invested interest in the state I am native of. I have dedicated my life to a life of service. Serving at-risk populations, the marginalized and the disenfranchised. This includes youth, low-income families and generally underserved populations. I have been active in the community for over 18 years. I am qualified to serve with education, experience and a strong commitment to fight for democratic principles. With a Masters in Public Policy & Administration and a Bachelors in Communication. I chose a career in public service because of the cause of social justice which is reflective of the fields of study I chose, the university I attended and the work I do. As a former redevelopment professional I understand how Prop 13 has affected the 482 incorporated cities of California and how it still has a continued ripple effect today. I stand for our progressive rights and seek to strengthen our strides. I choose not to sit by the sidelines instead I seek election to help influence real policy change. I have been labeled a transformational leader because I do things unprecedented.
