Dr. Eduardo Reyes is a first-generation immigrant and has lived in Chula Vista for over 35 years. He attended the local public schools and has been active with multiple organizations within the community.
Dr. Eduardo Reyes is a educator, entrepreneur, and community advocate. He currently serves as the President of the Chula Vista Elementary School District and the Principal of Bonita Vista Middle School.
After earning his Master's Degree in Business Administration, Reyes started his career in the private sector, where he worked as a financial analyst, investment consultant, and a real estate broker. In addition, he was the owner of two small businesses. This experience provides Reyes with a deep understanding and knowledge of fiscal accountability, business development, and strategic real estate (commercial, business, and residential) investments and development.
Reyes became involved in several education organizations and decided to become a teacher/educator. Reyes has worked in several local schools as a teacher, assistant principal, adjunct-professor, and principal.
Reyes believes our city government needs to be more accessible to the public and provide opportunities to engage all stakeholders. Dr. Reyes is committed in building coalitions for solving Chula Vista's most pressing issues.
Dr. Eduardo Reyes is a life-long advocate for social and economic justice issues and greater equity for all members of our community. His strong leadership skills allow him to create solutions by working cohesively with others.
